Crossroads

CFC Youth for Christ (YFC) is a Catholic youth organization, and is the youth ministry of Couples for Christ, an international lay ecclesial movement. It is "an evangelistic ministry to young people with ages from 12 to 21."In addition to aiming to strengthen Christian family life, YFC shares the CFC mission of helping the poor and oppressed. To be a member of YFC, you need to undergo a seminar called a Youth Camp, a 2-day, 3-night camp which is composed of five talks aiming to introduce Jesus Christ to young people.

CFC Youth for Christ was established in the Philippines in 1991 as a limited pilot program under CFC, which was then only an outreach to married couples. In 1993, CFC became an independent organization and created the CFC Family Ministries, YFC among them. Actively participating in CFC's work of evangelizing families, YFC also spearheaded the initial efforts of what would become Gawad Kalinga (GK), an organization that uses a Christian approach in attempting to solve poverty in the Philippines and other countries.

CFC Youth (CFC-Y) is the official name of CFC Youth for Christ in the United States. It has nationwide presence as a youth ministry under Couples for Christ in various U.S. dioceses. Together with the rest of CFC, it has gained popularity among Filipinos, with strong presence in Filipino communities in the U.S. and worldwide.
