DOTA
I just really don't know why boys in our class love to play Dota? In first place, what is actually a Dota? I know that it is an online game that you will addicted to. some of my classmates are addicted to Dota because its their hobby to play Dota. I noticed that after our classes they will go to the Internet shop to play. But, what do we get from Dota? Iguess if you love playing Dota, you will enjoy it. And if you won, you'll consider it as your achievement.

The Biggest and the Grandest Event in High School Life
Gowns, cocktail dresses, coats, sleeves, these are the common dresses that we had seen in JS Prom. We, juniors and seniors had our JS Prom last February 12, 2010 at the Father Burgos Gymnasium. It was great and unforgettable experience in my high school life. At first, I’m so nervous and ashamed because we will have our JS Prom, but then, when I experienced JS Prom, I feel so happy and I enjoyed the Prom. I had my confident to mingle and socialize with others especially for the seniors. JS Prom is not only for the glamorous clothes, music that were played, delicious foods we ate and dancing but the most important is accepting the Key of Responsibility from the seniors. Above all, the Candle Lighting Ceremony is the most significant part of the program because the candle symbolizes Christ as the center of our lives. Christ said “I am the light of the world” that will lead and guide us through the right path.
After the dinner, we proceed to the next part of the program which is Dance. In this part, I really enjoyed it because there is First Dance and Last Dance whom I never forget in my High School life because I danced with Deria Fatima Meneses. I am proud of my self because I danced many girls and in fact, there is no song that I missed. JS Prom could be one of my greatest and grandest event that I will never forget.

Insomnia in Reviewing
Every time our teacher says that there shall be a long quiz tomorrow, we will review immediately so that we can pass the quiz. To get a high score in our quiz, we will review as late as 12 o'clock midnight. some students, when the examinations has come, they will review all throughout the night as long as they will pass the examinations. Like me, sometimes if I hardly understand the topics to be reviewed in our quiz or in examination, sometimes I can sleep as late as 2 o'clock in the morning. And because of reviewing, sometimes it feels like INSOMNIA.

Youth Camp
Last February 19-21, 2010 we had our Youth Camp, with the theme, "Crossroads" and it was held at Gawad Kalinga, Talogtog, San Juan, La Union. it was a great experience because we experience the 4F's which is Fun, to have fun in this Youth Camp; Friendship, to gain many friends; Faith, to have faith in Christ and to become closer to God and Freedom, free to sit, listen, eat and participate. Crossroad is the theme of this Youth Camp because we can't decide. We don't know how to choose if right or left, front of back, up or down and good or bad. they choose Crossroad as the theme so that we should think twice, decide and choose the right path in order to become a good person.
In Youth Camp there are rules to be followed, like in the Pinoy Big Brother, the housemates should follow the rules in the house. Likewise, the participants should also follow these rules:
House Rules:
1. Seek God always.
2. Respect begets respect.
3. Participate don't anticipate.
4. Be friendly don't be clickish.
5. Smile always.
6. No using of cellphones during sessions.
7. Drinking liquors and smoking are not allowed.
8. Boys are not allowed to enter girls Quarters or vice versa.
9. Avoid saying bad words.
10. Lights off is LIGHTS OFF.
Youth Camp Talk 1: God's Love and His Plan for Us
This first talk talks about God's love and his plan for all of us. Jesus Christ loved the world so much that He gave everything for it, from His rights and privileges as the unique eternal Son of God, to His very life! If you want to see the love of God. God's love has been made known to us and now He stands at the door and knocks. It's up to every individual to either pursue a personal relationship with God or else reject Him outright. The only barrier between us and God's love is our own freewill and Jesus Christ is the door.
Youth Camp Talk 2: Who is Jesus Christ To Me?
Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity. He is our savior and ultimate Best friend and partner. There are also misconceptions about Jesus Christ:
1. Jesus as weirdo.
2. Jesus as weakling.
3. Jesus as confused.
To know more about Jesus Christ here are some qualities about him :
1. He forgave sins.
2. He claim to be judged.
3. He received worship from Saint Thomas.
4. He gave his life to us.
Youth Camp Talk 3: Repentance, Faith, Healing and Forgiveness
I. Repentance and Faith
A. Repentance
Sinfulness in our lives and the hurts we've experienced are hindrances in coming to Christ and receiving His spirit. This is the reason why Christ called those who came to Him repentance.
Misconceptions about Repentance:
1. Feeling terrible about your self.
2. Feeling regret.
3. Getting reed of all tendencies to sin.
Repentance comes from the Greek word "metanoia" which literally means change of heart and mind. It is an act of of the will, a decision.
We should repent our sins from:
1. Rebelliousness to parents, authorities, and society.
2. Cheating, lying, stealing, cursing, green jokes, slander and gossip.
3. Abuse of alcohol, illegal drugs.
4. Sexual sins such as necking, petting, pornography, masturbation, homosexual acts, etc.
5. Horoscope, superstition, spiritualism, non-Christian religion.
What must we do to repent? (4 H'S: Attitudes to take in repentance)
1. Honesty
2. Humility
3. Hate the sin not the sinner
4. Have a good confession
B. Faith
We must need faith that we come to the Lord in repentance He will forgive us and give us the strength to follow him. The type of faith that we are talking about is shown in Matthew 14:22-23.
C. Healing and Forgiveness
We need healing when we come before God and respond to Him, we first acknowledge our sinfulness and come before Him in repentance and then in faith, ask for forgiveness. Healing through Forgiveness in our parents, friends, and others.
Healing occurs:
1. when we forgive
2. when we ask for forgiveness
3. when we humbly ask God to heal us 4. when we serve others, focus more on helping others
Youth Camp Talk 4: Receiving God's Gift the Power of the Holy Spirit
Christians today are fighting for their Christianity and Faith.
Holy Spirit is:
1. God's messenger
2. the third person of God
3. the temple of our body
Holy Spirit gives us:
1. union with God
2. a new nature
3. power to serve
Youth Camp Talk 5: Growing in the Spirit
We should spoke:
1. prayer and studying of scripture
2. fellowship
3. service
4. sacraments

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (known as Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief in the UK and Australia) is a fantasy-adventure film directed by Chris Columbus. The film is a loose adaptation of The Lightning Thief, the first novel in the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series by Rick Riordan. It stars Logan Lerman as the titular Percy Jackson alongside an ensemble cast which includes Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Rosario Dawson, Steve Coogan, Uma Thurman, Catherine Keener, Sean Bean and Pierce Brosnan. It was released to theaters on February 12, 2010.
In its opening weekend, the film ranked #2; and in its, first week, the film grossed $40 million, comprising 40% of its "$95 million budget". Critical reception was mixed.
Plot
At the top of the Empire State Building, Poseidon (Kevin McKidd) meets with Zeus (Sean Bean), who comments that the storm clouds have no lightning and and that his master bolt has been stolen. He blames Poseidon's son for the theft. Despite Poseidon's claims of his son's innocence, Zeus gives Poseidon 14 days to return it, lest war break out.
During a field trip to an exhibition of Greek and Roman art, teenager Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), is lured away from the crowd by a Fury disguised as his substitute English teacher, who then attacks him, questioning him about the lightning bolt. The incredulous Percy, who has no knowledge of this, is rescued by his Latin teacher, Mr. Brunner (Pierce Brosnan). After dispatching the Fury, Brunner gives Percy a magical pen. On Brunner's instruction, Percy's best friend, Grover (Brandon T. Jackson), takes Percy to a training camp for demigods, Camp Half-Blood, along with Percy's mother, Sally Jackson (Catherine Keener). During their trip to the camp, Percy attempts to learn about his biological father from Sally, but they are attacked by a Minotaur. Although Percy and Grover, who is revealed to be a satyr, make it to the camp, its defenses prohibit entrance to Sally, who is captured by the Minotaur, and disappears before Percy. Percy engages the Minotaur with the magical pen, which turns into a sword named Riptide, eventually killing the creature with one of its horns.
In touring the Camp Half-Blood, Percy learns that Brunner is the mythological centaur Chiron, and the camp's trainer, and that his father is the god Poseidon. He also meets Luke Castellan (Jake Abel), the son of Hermes, and Annabeth Chase (Alexandra Daddario), the demigod daughter of Athena. While at the camp, Percy learns that water has the power to heal his injuries, and allows him to manifest his magical abilities.
Hades later appears and reveals that Sally Jackson is his prisoner, and proposes she be traded for the master bolt. Chiron instructs Percy not to bargain with the demon, but to go to Olympus to convince Zeus of his innocence. Percy sneaks away from the camp to travel to the Underworld, along with Grover and Annabeth, who secure for him from Luke a portable shield, flying shoes and a map to Persephone's pearls, one of which will reveal the exit from the Underworld when retrieved.
At Aunty Em's Garden Emporium, the trio are attacked by Medusa (Uma Thurman), but manage to decapitate her, and take the pearl from her bracelet. They also take her head, which they later successfully use against a hydra that attacks them during their acquisition of another pearl from the crown of a giant statue of Athena at the Parthenon replica in Nashville, Tennessee. They acquire the third and final pearl from a roulette wheel at a hotel casino in Las Vegas, in part with help from Poseidon, who aids them against Lotus Eaters. The map reveals an entrance to the Underworld in Hollywood, California.
The trio enter the Underworld, where, after traveling across the River Styx, they encounter Persephone, who takes them to Hades. Percy attempts to explain to Hades that he is not the lightning thief. During an ensuing melee, Percy drops his shield, whose handle conceals the missing master bolt, which Hades takes. However, the trio manage to reacquire it before escaping the Underworld with the rescued Sally. They are transported to the top of the Empire State Building, which they learn is the location to the entrance to Olympus. They are confronted by Luke, who reveals himself to have been the real lightning thief. Expressing his desire for a new generation of rulers to take over Olympus, he explains that he had hoped that the trio would not have escaped the Underworld alive, and after stealing the bolt from Percy, the two engage in battle. After using his water powers to dispatch Luke, Percy arrives in Olympus, where he presents the retrieved bolt, and reveals the truth about Luke. Poseidon explains to Percy the reason why they could not know each other during Percy's childhood, but expresses his love for his son. Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood, where he resumes his training. Sally forces Gabe out of their apartment, and as he goes to get a beer from the fridge, opens it only to be turned to stone because Medusa's unprotected eyes are staring right back at him.

Columbus has stated that the cast were chosen specifically with sequels in mind.
